Viking Star: Empires of the Mediterranean

The following is an in-depth review of a cruise on the Viking Star, specifically Empires of the Mediterranean which we took at the end of March 2017.  Below is the original itinerary on the left, with the updated itinerary on the right which was changed due to security concerns in Turkey.  Of note, on our cruise Kotor, Montenegro was cancelled and changed to a sea day due to high winds around the port area.  Overall, we had a great trip, but read on for more information.  Click on the links to the right by selecting the specific destinations, with our trip starting in Venice.
